Metal Spinning

Helander specializes in creating axially symmetric, high-performance parts using manual or CNC spinning.  include:

  • Advantages: lower costs, shorter lead times, and maximum design flexibility.
  • Materials: stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminum, copper, Inconel, Monel, Hastelloy, titanium, bronze, and brass.
  • Part sizes up to 100 inches in diameter, with material thickness ranging from 0.018 inches to 2.50 inches.

 

Hydroforming

A quick, cost-effective metal forming technique ideal for intricate shapes.

  • Advantages: reduced material waste and minimal secondary finishing.
  • Materials: carbon steel, copper, aluminum, brass, and stainless steel.
  • Draw depths of 7″ to 12″ with diameters of 12″ to 19″.

 

CNC Machining (Milling & Turning)

Our advanced CNC milling and turning capabilities allow us to deliver fully machined metal spun and hydroformed components. With tolerances of +/-0.001 inches, we ensure optimal precision. We work with a variety of materials, including titanium, carbon steel, stainless steel, brass, aluminum, and copper.
