What is Hydroforming?: In
Hydroforming (a unique metal forming method known as unconventional
deep drawing), material is forced on a steel punch by a rubber
diaphragm, pressurized by up to 15,000 psi of hydraulic oil.
Tooling for this process is inexpensive, unique shapes and
fine details are readily produced, making hydroforming attractive
for large or low production runs, as well as prototypes.
